It has taken me several days to write this blog because I have spent the better portion of my time channeling all my energy into making Wentworth Miller appear. Why would I be spending all my time on this you ask? Well on this weeks episode of True Blood we are finally introduced to Queen Sophie-Anne. Queen Sophie-Anne spends her days laying in her faux sun room, fang banging beautiful women (yes, vampires, can be same sex oriented, who knew!?) and playing yahtzee. What day would be complete without a rousing game of Yahtzee?Bill and Eric look to the Queen in finding out how they can take down Maryann. According to Queen Sophie-Anne, Maryann the Maenad can not be killed. Turns out Maryann is waiting for the god that comes but there is no such being that exists. "He only exists in humans' minds — like money and morality." To take that even further, Maryann thinks she needs to offer her god a sacrifice — she's partial to supernatural beings, hence her interest in Sam — so that the god Dionysus aka Satan will come and kill her. A true death, ravished and devoured by her true god. Um, really? So Maryann obtained all her powers because she wished it hard enough upon herself to make it happen. Are you joking me?! If that was the case I'd be surrounded by Wentworth Miller, Eric the Vampire, Jeffrey Donovan and a shit load of cash. I'd sacrifice myself to them any day of the week. I wish, I wish, I wish... this episode of True Blood didn't suck so much.
At least Jason gave us some laughs when he learned of Sam's shape shifting abilities and pondered aloud "You think Sam's ever turned into a dog and then had sex with a lady dog?" This was the first of two questions that Jason asks about Sam's particular talent, the other being "You think Sam could turn into a chicken and eat an egg he just laid? By the end of the episode I wonder if Jason wasn't so far off with that question.

Yeah i agree...this episode wasn't the best. But I have a strong feeling the season finale won't be that satisying either. Bring on the cliff hanger!
