I actually got chills seeing the 4146 Melrose Place sign outside the apartment buildings that I watched week after week in the early 90s. It was a blast to see Michael and Sidney resume their old characters but the gorgeous, spoiled rich kids manifesting their own drama storyline can only be watched so many times. Gossip Girl, 90210 and Melrose Place are all starting to look eerily similar. I also have to wonder if the network is just grasping for story ideas, when instead of coming out with new original shows they are just recycling the hits of the 1990s.
