A traffic jam when you're already late..A no-smoking sign on your cigarette break..
It's like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife..
It's meeting the man of my dreams
And then meeting his beautiful wife..
And isn't it ironic...don't you think
A little too ironic...and, yeah, I really do think...
As Alanis Morissette said: isn't it ironic when you go around threatening other people, you are bound to get a mallet to the head. Well, maybe that's not exactly what she said, but holy heck, if I could have envisioned hundreds of cliffhangers for the Weeds Season Finale, Shane cracking Pilar in the head with a mallet was not on the list. I am pretty sure Pilar is dead, since I think we just heard her head split open. I hardly had a chance to blink and register what we had just witnessed. It is quite ironic that Pilar and Nancy would talk so much smack, but when it came down to it, Shane is the one who took action. If only a video camera had been recording my face when the whole thing went down because I have never been so blindsided by a scene before. I know I speculated that Shane was on a dangerous path but never did I imagine murder be next on his list. Not that Pilar didn't deserve it, the bitch needed to go. How dare she threaten Shane and Silas! How they will cover this up I have no idea but I can only hope Shane practice's saying "Pilar, who?!" for quite some time.
There was a method to my madness when I chose to quote Alanis Morissette in this opener. Alanis has been guest starring as Andy's love interest in the past few episodes. I have only known her as a singer but she is quite a good actress and very cute too. A lot prettier then I ever remember from her infamous "Ironic" video. I am not sure if she will be in the next Season since the last time we see her she is strolling along with Andy when her lunatic stalker shows up and in true Andy fashion, he runs away instead of protecting her. Something tells me their recent engagement will be short lived.
