Tori and Dean

I have a super secret show that I run home to catch weekly and am embarrassed to admit to. That show would be Tori and Dean..Inn Love, Home Sweet Hollywood and the like. Now you would think the way these two connected--they were both married to other people when they fell in love and went on to have a quickie marriage and two beautiful children might deter me from liking this show. As much as I want to dislike them and am so anti-cheating (it is the one thing in a relationship that can really boil my blood) I actually watch these two interact and feel that they were made for each other and I can see why they felt that their connection was undeniable.

Dean is a total cutie and a wonderful husband and father, while Tori is completely sweet, funny, neurotic, a great mom and wife. They just mesh in ever way possible and I am dying to be friends with these two! I think out of any "reality" TV couple they have the most true to life relationship. We have seen many of their awesomely fun and cute moments while we are not shielded from the trials and tribulations of their public family and relationship.

The crazy circumstances in which they met, Dean's guilt with his first son, and Tori's tumultuous relationship with her mom is very prevalent in the show. Of course this all brings in huge ratings yet I also like that we are not shielded from the seriousness of it all.

The way Tori and Dean interact is very much how I believe real couples act. Affectionate, sweet, laughing and joking about sex and the craziness that is life. Then of course there is the jealousy if they see their Significant Other surrounded by a member of the opposite sex and arguments over family time, money and hobbies outside the relationship. I can't get enough of these two.

It is obvious on the show that they are wonderful parents and because Tori is known for not having a good relationship with her own family, (especially her mother) she has made a family with the friends she surrounds herself with. They are truly there for each other no matter what. Luckily I have a wonderful relationship with my mother and am blessed that I can depend on her for anything. It saddens me that Tori seems like such an amazing, sweet, caring person and her mother seems to be jealous of her on many levels.

I have read both of Tori Spelling's books and am a huge fan. It is great to see her excel past Donna Martin and I think she would be a really cool person to know in real life.
