On the beautiful island of Maui Jillian had her final dates with the last guys standing. Kypton, Reid and Ed. It's impossible to imagine having a bad time in this atmosphere and personally it solidified the fact that I must go to Hawaii one day. The lush green land, palm trees, volcanoes, deep blue crystal clear water. Sigh..I was falling in love with the Island while Jillian was falling in love with more than one man.The first date went to Kypton. Once again Jillian set up a date that involved climbing ropes and obstacle courses hundreds of feet in the air. I don't understand why this qualifies as a good date. What about talking about your favorite foods or movies and getting to know each other? Her notion being that they will be encouraging each other and learn to trust each other and while I think that is super important in a relationship, I think it can be learned through other avenues.
That portion of the date ended with them climbing a twenty foot totem pole, standing and balancing at the top of it and then taking a "Leap of Faith" and jumping while trying to catch a bar in mid air. Kyp was able to achieve his leap of faith while Jillian fell flat and missed. Of course she was going to miss, the bar was 10 feet away from her and she is a tiny girl. Unless she grew wings, it was obvious she couldn't make the jump. Kypton uses the motto leap of faith 34 more times throughout the evening to solidify his feelings for Jill.
Kypton and Jillian are given a chance at the fantasy suite for a second time and this time Jill jumps at the chance to be alone with Kyp. Ooh la la. We are privy to some soft porn action and I have to say I get the giggles when watching them. Kypton is a hottie and on screen he looks like a good kisser. He is always putting his hands on her face when kissing Jill. Men, women love this! He was also stroking her arm, it was all very...titillating.
The next day Jill has her date with Reid. Reid and Jilly go on a helicopter ride overlooking all of Maui. Stunning! Upon learning that the pilot is an ordained minister and can perform ceremonies mid air Reid jumps out of the helicopter to his death. I kid. I kid. He didn't jump out of the copter but the look on his face tells me the thought crossed his mind.
Once on the ground Jilly proceeds to grill Reid on his intentions like this was the Spanish Inquisition. Reid doesn't know what more he can say but he likes her [--------------------] much, and that 4th grade answer as cute as it was, didn't exactly give Jill the answers she was looking for.
Jill and Reid also accept the second opportunity at a night alone together (Jilly, you slut!) and we see them drinking champagne and enjoying a bubble bath together. I kept looking for a bathing suit but I didn't see anything. Are you guys naked in there? Shouldn't you ask the cameras to leave now?
On day three Jill and Ed finally get time alone together and set sail into the sunset for lots of kissing and a dip in the beautiful water of Maui. I loved the bathing suit Jilly was wearing. It was a really pretty rainbow colored two piece that looked amazing with her tan. If only I could say the same for Ed's bathing suit. I started hearing the Brady Bunch song Sun Shiny Dayyyyy in the background when I spotted his neon green tiny, shorts bathing suit. I guess it could have been worse, at least we weren't privy to a banana hammock.
In a great move on Ed's part, he flies his folks in to meet Jillian since they never got to meet when he left due to work reasons. At the risk of sounding redundant, Ed and Jilly also accepted the fantasy suite evening together and this is where my confusion completely sets in. Jilly changes into something more comfy, aka a long white shirt low enough to bare the idea of a nice set of perky boobs and proceeds to massage and oil up Ed in a romantic massage. The lights go down and we are led to believe that they are on their way to a romantical evening. Yes, I said romantical. Moments later the lights are on and no one is too happy. How much time has passed I have no idea.
Via interviews with Ed and Jilly we learn that things didn't quite go as they had hoped. Maybe the chemistry just isn't there. Ed couldn't show her how much he loves her the way he wanted to. Jill isn't sure why they both would rather just go to bed after being hot for each other all day. So does this mean Ed couldn't get it up? Where they both just hot and tired from their adventures in Maui? Kind of crass for them to vaguely make us believe Ed is impotent without being more straight forward. Message boards are all a buzz with guesses today and I too am lost.
Finally, we come to the rose ceremony. I have to say this is the point where I actually don't know what Jill should do. Usually by this time I have a front runner and I am rooting for someone but I am taking the "this is in G-ds hands approach" or rather Jill's hands since I have nothing to do with the decision she is about to make.
Kypton looks smokin' hot in his charcoal gray suit, Reid looks adorable as always and in walks Ed looking like an ice cream salesman. I can't even take credit for that perfect analogy because I stole it from Chris Harrison's blog but he is right on the money. Ed, who the heck picked out that pale blue jacket? We need a professional stylest stat! Throw some gel in that hair too please!
Jill looks like she is about to faint any moment and then asks if she can speak to Ed privately. Jill asks about their night alone together and Ed promises her that he has things on his mind and he can assure her it will never happen again. What won't happen ever again?! What is it???!!!!
Back at the rose ceremony Kypton and Reid muse over the fact of what a tough decision this must be for Jill, if only they knew Jill is facing problems between Ed and his little buddy.
Once the rose ceremony resumes I am FLOORED when Jilly gives Kypton a rose. FLOORED. I think I stopped breathing for a minute. I have no idea if this is a good decision and then in the longest pause ever Ed is the second one to get a rose. Bye-Bye Reid. Reid looks shocked.. I feel shocked.. I try and sit through the final moments before rushing to the ABC message boards to post how shocked I am.
As Reid reflects on his dismissal he ponders if he should have just told Jill he was in love with her. I think it is finally sinking in that he won't be seeing Jill again and we are left wondering if we will see Reid return in come capacity, possibly to surprise Jill with a proposal?
Next week....the men tell all and the reviews are already buzzing that within moments it is the craziest tell all to date. I am hoping we will learn who the next Bachelor is during this episode. Then in two weeks we finally learn who Jill picks! Sad to see this season end but looking froward to knowing how it will all end up.

You did an amazing job describing the show!! Thanks!
