The premiere episode of Big Brother 11 did not disappoint. It was great to see Julie Chen back as the host. In a fantastically cute quip she amended the show's "expect the unexpected" mantra to include those who "are just expecting" and pointing to her baby bump! She looks great as an expectant mama and I am glad they didn't get a different host because it wouldn't be the same without her. This years twist as I mentioned is High School. Turns out the house guests were broken into teams that portrayed high school cliques. Brains, Athletes, Popular and Offbeat.
It is still too early to decide who I will be rooting for but straight off the bat I liked Ronnie the self professed video game geek because when he found out he made it onto Big Brother he burst into tears and hysterics. I also liked Casey, who is a 40 year old, 5th grade teacher by day and a DJ by night. These two at first glance seem like typical under dogs who I can't help but root for.
As for the second twist of the night we find out that some one who previously starred on BB would get a second chance in the house. The winner of that competition turned out to be Jessie, the loud mouthed, big muscled, obnoxious, jerk-boy from last season. Booo. Not looking forward to listening to his mouth but I am sure as the first head of household he will stir up some crazy drama.
