Poor Banana Boy

Poor Banana Boy Casey. He had no clue Jesse was gunning for him and was blindsided when he was put on the block as a replacement nominee when Michele won POV. The plan is to backdoor Casey and if people don't recognize that Jesse and Ronnie are playing the house for fools I am going to go crazy!

Natalie, Ronnie and Lydia are all in the running for the person I would like to punch in the face. The only two I enjoy watching are Jeff and Jordan. Although Jordan is not the "smartest crayon in the box" as she so eloquently put it (what the F does that even mean?!) I can't help but like the bubbly blond.

It actually makes me miss my own blond hair. People tend to underestimate the "dumb blonds" and if you have any brunette hiding in you, then it is smart to use that to your advantage in this game. I hope Jordan can find some brunette in her.

It's a lock on S4

I am thrilled to announce that Burn Notice has been renewed for another Season. Wahooooo!!! With only two episodes left to the Season Final of Season 3 Part 1 I am thrilled to know that eventually we will get more of this beloved show.

Snip Snip

At last Nancy makes a brilliant play by putting Andy's name as father on the birth certificate when Esteban refuses to do so in fear it will ruin his political career. Leaving Esteban with no legal entitlement to the baby was genius and naming the baby Stevie aka Esteban in English was just an extra kick in the nuts.

Andy pulled out all the stops when it came to making the baby a proper Jewish boy and the scene cuts to the babies bris! Ahhhh poor baby, but highly necessary!!!!! If you have any pro/con circumcision opinion, skip this entry. MY blog. MY opinion. Circumcision is the way to go, ick to the alternative.

I love this show and I am loving the interaction between Nancy and Andy. I hope this is the last we have seen of Esteban and for G-ds sake, can we start selling Weed again! We got Celia giving freebies away with every purchase of lipstick and we haven't seen Silas with his shirt off for at least 5 episodes. The writers need to reassess their priorities.

The F Word

In the battle of beauty vs. brains the new show Drop Dead Diva is a winner on both fronts. This show is cute, clever and witty.

I have to keep reminding myself that inside the buxom body is a blond ditzy model. Brooke Elliot plays the role so well it is easy to forget. With a sexy swagger you are reminded that there is a sexy size 2 model inside a bigger frame.

When Deb/Jane comes out with a really wise notion I love that she is in awe of her own knowledge. You can see that she is battling between her old and new life. Coming to terms with her new body and the F word (Fat) is not easy for her. I am also very fond of the back story between Grayson (Deb's ex boyfriend) and the undeniable connection that he is feeling towards "Jane."

For the record, it has not gone unnoticed that the writers named this character Jane. When I think of the name Jane I can't help but think Jane/John Doe, an unidentified person who doesn't know who they are. Verrry Clever.

Now the only question on my mind if if you had to choose between having beauty or brains, what would you choose to have? It seems like the answer should be simple but with the society that we live in where beauty is held so high and brains sometimes fall to the way side I will leave the question unanswered because I am really not sure what I would choose. I think it's easier choosing Vampire or Shape Shifter. ;-)

After The Rose

I was so tired waiting up for The Bachelorette: After The Final Rose episode that I almost had tooth picks holding my eyes open. Why they chose to air it at 10:00pm the following night makes no sense to me.

First up was a look back at Melissa Rycroft from last season. She has obviously moved on from the Jason Mesnick fiasco . With a new job and a new fiance you couldn't help but notice that something else was new. Was it a new nose or just really bad under eye concealer that made her entire face look different? Either way, she is a delight to watch and I am happy she is in a great place.

Up next was Kyptin and as I swooned at the sight of him on TV my own heart broke a little bit when he spoke about having his heart broken for the first time by Jillian. He even joked that he wasn't looking for the ring in his pocket but more so clutching his broken heart. Awwwww!
Something tells me he will do just fine and I really hope he gets picked as the next Bachelor so I can keep tabs on what he is up to.

Next was Reid an obvious fan favorite. The crowd went wild when he walked into the studio. He was charming and witty and the audience was eating it up. When speaking with Jilly the pain was easy to see in his eyes. The irony is that Jill looked like she couldn't keep her hands off him either. In a moment of quiet when Reid is allowed to ask Jillian anything that is on his mind, he jokes about what really happened in the fantasy suite with Ed? Uh Oh. TOO FUNNY! After a stunned look from Jillian and a slight chuckle, Reid changes the subject. Damn it, we all want some clarification!!!

At last, the "happy" couple Ed and Jillian are reunited. Tons of making out and declarations of love and happiness are announced. They say they will definitely be married within the year. I am happy Jill found love and if it works with Ed more power to them. Some cute photos have since been released and word on the street is she will be moving into his apartment soon.

Are they moving a little too fast? Probably. But what works for some couples doesn't work for other and vice versa. The real answer is that when it comes to matters of the heart there are no set rules. Every couple has to play their own game and do what works best for them.

Running of the Bull?

How do you blog about an episode of Television that was just so incredible and outrageous that unless you saw it with your own two eyes you wouldn't believe what I am describing. A Jesus camp filled with vampire killing fanatics and hypnotized people holding orgy's in the woods. Told ya it was crazy.

If you haven't guessed by now, the show I am referring to is this weeks episode of True Blood. I sat down with my friends to discuss the topic and as usual we all agreed that things are getting wild and a showdown between the Vampires and Fanatics is going to happen any day now.

We were all surprised to see the flashback showing just how gruesome Bill once was. When I voiced my shock at how violent Bill seemed and that I was actually disgusted with his character I was BLATANTLY reminded that Vampires lived in a time where they weren't kind, gentle souls. They were out for blood and kills and just recently did they even become a part of society.

This of course led to a discussion of exactly how you get "turned" and if you were in love with a Vampire would you choose to be "turned" so you can spend eternity with your "soul" mate. Of course I use the term soul mate loosely being your soul is stolen away from you when you turn into a Vampire. How my friend knows so much about turning a human into a Vampire, well that remains to be seen. He obviously is paying very close attention to the show or he takes part in some really wild weekend adventures.

Other notable scenes from this episode:
- Eric drinking the girl from the club. Hot! He could be my maker any day.
- Sam and Daphne on the Pool Table. I may never be able to play a simple game of pool again.
- Hypothesis: The area that Tara and Eggs stumbled upon is where the ritual took place that killed the psychic woman whose heart was stolen.
- We all felt for poor Lafayette who was traumatized by his Vampire ordeal.
- Stunned with the Orgy scene. How do you even shoot a scene as crazy as that??
- None of us could understand why Maryann had to put on the bull helmet, we assumed the horns came out of her head or something.

Take a look at the latest preview of what is to come on this Season. Viewers beware, there are spoilers and it looks like the shit is going to hit the fan.

The Bachelorette Viewing Party

My night on the couch watching the Finale doesn't look nearly as exciting as these pics! If I knew Photoshop I'd be standing right next to Jillian over there. Cheers!

I'm a sucker for love..

How much do I love these photos of real life True Blood couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer!??

My Favorite Killer

The new season of Dexter is right around the corner and I can not wait to see what my favorite Serial Killer has been up to. Feel free to check out the sneak peak they shared at Comic-Con. SPOILERS!!!!!

Rosey Endings...

It's time! It's time! After 2 months, 30 men, countless dates and tons of drama and tears the night I have been waiting for, um I mean Jillian has been dreaming of is finally here!!!

The episode starts in Hawaii and the final two men Ed and Kiptyn get to meet Jillian's parents along with her cousin and grandma for the first time. The mom has 66 questions for each of the men to answer and no I am not exaggerating, she actually asked them each 66 questions. Do you want children? Where do you see yourself in 20 years? Blah..Blah.. I mean honestly is a guy not going to give the answer mom wants to hear. I found Ed's responses totally cookie cutter yet I felt like Kip was so genuine and the little wink he threw Jill's mom made my heart pitter-patter. Seriously, I was clutching my chest, possibly on the brink of a panic attack or I have a major crush on Kiptyn.

One, two, three, four, oh excuse me. I was just counting the number of amazing abs that are on Kiptyn's body. This guy does not just have a 6 pack I think it's more like a 12 pack. He definitely deserves kudos for his stellar body but as each week passes and we learn more about him I am falling for more then just his beautiful face. I think he is an all around wonderful guy and I am almost ashamed that in previous blogs I referred to him as a pretty package with nothing to say. He really proved me wrong and I have no problem admitting it. I love that he is charming, sweet and when he speaks he actually looks at Jillian in the face instead of avoiding all contact like Ed does.

In what will go down in history as one of my favorite Bachelorette moments Jilly and Kiptyn are laying in the bed together and he looks down at her and asks if she is happy and she says yes. This was me -- Yes, Kiptyn, I am happy, I am happy!!!! Um. Yes, I need to get a grip. My heart was POUNDING watching the entire episode. I realize it is not my love life on the line but I am invested here people!

Jill gets to spend the evening with each man and that is where the above mentioned convo between Kip and Jill takes place. They also lay their feelings on the line and for once Kip opens up about how he is definitely falling in love with her. We later cut to Jill's time with Ed and in a not so subtle euphimism they cut to a shot of a Volcano errupting. Alrighty then, I guess the little issue in last weeks has been taken care of.

Finally the day is here where Jillian will pick her man. Looking stunning in a white strapless dress she is beaming and I am freaking out because the suspense is just too much! To my horror the first limo to arrive is Kiptyn's. Anyone who has watched The Bachelor/ette knows that this is never ever a good sign. First one out of the limo with 45 minutes to spare on the TV is always the first to go home. Noooooooooooooooooo!!!!! Kiptyn confesses his love to Jill only to be crushed and be told she is in love with someone else. Kip is crushed. I am crushed. Jillian, you idiot! On the bright side...Kiptyn would make the perfect Bachelor next Season...Hmmm...

I pop a Xanax and sit back to watch the disaster about to happen (kidding, on the Xanax part by the way, sorta) I assume Ed is on his way when lo and behold Reid pops out of the SUV that has just pulled up. Convinced that he is the one for Jillian he must speak to her right away. Being he is trying to convince her of his undying love I would have hoped he could have put on dress shoes with his blazer but no he is wearing sneakers. Looking quite sloppy he proposes to Jill. As happy as Jill is to see Reid when she tells him to please get up I know this can not be a good sign.

We cut to Ed who has now circled the block 20 times and must be wondering what in the world is going on out there Ed proposes to Jill in what I can only describe as the most anticlimatic proposal ever. I just didn't buy it. I dont know why but I think Jill was playing it safe by choosing Ed and although he seems like an ok guy I just didn't feel the heat.

The fact that The Bachelorette is over is so bitter sweet. Jillian was a wonderful Bachelorette and I grew very fond of many of the guys on the show. Tonight we get to see what happend "After the Final Rose" and I am really hoping that Jillian is truly happy with her choice. The next important question is who will be the next Bachelor:

BB

Once again the meat heads and Ronnie are running the house. It's like groundhogs day in there - the same thing over and over. I don't understand why the rest of the house is not banning together to take down this unstoppable force! Even though Ronnie screwed everyone over and lied time and time again I think the back door plan to get Ronnie out is going to fall through and I really hope Jordan doesn't go home.

I love watching Jordan and Jeff together and I really hope she wins POV. Big Brother wouldn't be BB without some wacky love triangle and this time it involves Jesse, Lydia and Natalie. Talk about random! I guess Jesse is kind of cute if he never spoke a word but I really don't see the appeal. I am hoping that if Jeff or Jordan can't make it to the end then at least Casey can make it to the end. He is the only one who is playing the game and isn't on my last nerve.

Is it time?! Is it time yet!!?????

The minute I opened my eyes today I wished it was time for the Bachelorette.

Jilly gets to choose between hottie Kiptyn and career minded Ed . In a preview for tonight's finale Reid returns with a shocking confession that makes Jill question everything. Could there be a repeat of last season's Jason/Melissa/Molly love triangle? Or will she pull a Brad Womack, who in the 2007 finale chose no one and went home alone?

Harris told ABCNews.com that the finale is "dramatic," but has a "brilliant and positive" ending. "Not only am I happy, but as everyday goes by, I wake up more and more excited," Harris said. After hearing this quote I am convinced Jill doesn't pick any of them.

Now is it time?!!! 10 hours to go.. Sigh...

P.S. According to sources this is how it will all go down:
-Ed proposes to Jillian.
-Reid returns to say he loves her.
-Kiptyn has already been named the next star of The Bachelor.
-Oh, and Ed may have a girlfriend back home.

The Ugly Truth - and it's not the movie

I didn't think it was possible to dislike an actress as much as I can't stand Katherine Heigel. Yes, she is gorgeous. Yes she is talented, but her attitude makes her down right ugly in my opinion. In the past she has made ridiculous comments about her role on Grey's even taking herself out of the nomination to win an award because her work "wasn't award worthy." Talk about smacking a show that gave you your big break in the face.

Already 3 minutes into this interview on David Letterman I am reminded as to why I can not stand her as a person. Poor baby, worked a 17 hour day once. How cruel of the GA writers to do that to her. She makes millions of dollars, cry me a river. There are real people out there working 17 hour days and they aren't just standing around looking pretty.

The sad part is I actually like her movies and her character on Grey's is fantastic BUT as a real life person I want to punch her in those perfect little teeth.

I always enjoy when I find another blog that shares my hatred for an actress and this article deserves some major kudos. Not that I want to advertise for someone else but I can not resist sharing the link.

Mother F*****

Talk about airing the families dirty laundry. In an open letter from Candy Spelling to Tori published by TMZ the elder Spelling reacts to the two-part season finale in which Tori makes the "agonizing decision" (Candy's words) to invite her mother to Tori and Dean's daughter Stella's first birthday.

Addressed to "MIDDLE-AGED REALITY SHOW STARS (LIKE MY DAUGHTER)," "I Know many middle-aged people have issues about their parents and their upbringing. I did," to "A big party wasn't how I envisioned meeting my granddaughter for the first time; but, hey, this is Hollywood, and my grandchildren have become reality show props, too."

Her message concludes with, "For all the reality show personalities, please remember that real life doesn't get edited to make things better or worse or get better ratings. You're responsible for what you do. Life isn't just a show. And your families can't just be props. Make your own season finale without creating conflicts you will regret later."

WOW!!! Candy, you are a Mother F****. How about instead of sending letters via TMZ you act like a grown up and call your daughter. We all know I love the show Tori and Dean and I don't believe the crap that Candy spews for one moment. I think she is super jealous of her daughter and needs to grow the hell up. I am actually disgusted on behalf of Tori which may seem extreme but I think taking the problem to TMZ is way worse the mentioning their issues on Tori's reality show.

Team Kate

For a guy who wanted out of the media spotlight Jon Gosselin is everywhere. Just last week he was on vacay in St. Tropez with girlfriend #1 then most recently back in NY with supposed girlfriend #2.

Recently quoted as being single and still keeping his family as his number one priority I can't help but disagree when Jon is spotted hanging out in the Hamptons with Michael Lohan the trashiest dad in town.

Kate on the other hand has been spotted with the kids non stop and I am happy she is choosing the high road and staying out of the drama for once.

Comic-Con True Blood Crazyness

Ok. I admit I have no idea what Comic-Con is. I
thought it was about comic books or something. Maybe it even is. I actually don't care. What I do care about is this awesome interview given by True Blood favorites, Bill, Eric and Sookie. Be warned there are some spoilers in this interview but most importantly I would like you to pay attention to (Stephen Moyer) Bill's sexy British accent. Enjoy!

Father Hottie

Forgive me Father for I have Sinned. What more can I say after seeing Michael Westin play the part of a priest in the latest episode of Burn Notice. A man should never look that good wearing a priests outfit. Calling him H-O-T in that scene doesn't even do it justice and as bad as that sounds, well, I never said I was an angel :-)

Wonderful episode as always! Michael, Fi and Sam work to get rid of a step dad who beats his stepson and wife. A situation that hits close to home for Michael because as a child he lived very similar circumstances. This is the first time I can recall having a child be the "client" and he did a superb job. I sure wish I could be Michael's um "client".

Anyways..Michael, Fi and Sam work to make the step dad think he is losing his mind by faking their own deaths and then being resurrected. Michael as a priest, Sam as a fruit vendor, and Fi as a random girl shopping on the corner. Once the step dad goes "crazy" it is much easier for the mom to win full parental rights to her son.The fake death scene was HILARIOUS as they each worked to make it their own-- super dramatic and true to character. You almost want to laugh as it all goes down in slow mo with western music playing in the background but when I thought of it being a real death scene for any of those characters my heart actually kind of ached..

With all the great moments somehow I have forgotten to mention the main storyline in the last few blogs. Michael is still working as hard as he can to get back into the good graces of the government. He is still convinced the only way he will be whole again is to get his old job back. This involves making friends with some people who at this moment we are unsure of their true agendas. It is also causing a rift between Michael and Fi and I hope that Mikey gets a grip and sees that while having his old job is important he is missing out on something wonderful right in front of him. I mean what other girl will he find that keeps an extra gun in her umbrella stand just for emergencies.

Probably one of the coolest things about Burn Notice is its fan following. When the episode is over I rush to the USA message boards to read what others thought because there are fans out there even crazier then I am. They snap screen shots, watch the episode 3 and 4 times that night, they even make lists and quotes of their fave one liners of each episode. I can truly appreciate every ones enthusiasm for the show and wish I could meet such die hard fans like myself in real life. Even cooler is that the BN official website is often visited by the actual writers and producers who post on the boards and respond to peoples commentary. THAT I truly love, I mean without the fans there would be no show and I think it is awesome that the writers recognize that.

To my dismay at the end of this episode it was announced only two episodes left til the Season Finale. WHAT!!!!? First The Bachelorette and now Burn Notice is over for a few months, what am I going to do with all this free time? Maybe I should start working on losing the five pounds I gained from watching all this TV.

All about the Pheromones

ABCs' new show Dating in the Dark gave me some food for thought. The concept: Two strangers get to know each other over the course of a week in a pitch black room.

The object is to learn about each other without physical attraction getting in the way and see if there is a possible dating match. They are able to chat and even touch each other (if they choose to do so) to get a sense of the person's physical attributes.

They can smell the other person (and their clothes) to see if they are attracted to the persons pheromones. According to many studies, a persons scent, aka pheromones, that they give off can either attract or repel their partners. It is what they are calling a social experiment enabling people to fall for someone based on their personality and not what they look like.

Do I think this is feasible and can actually draw out a true love match? Highly unlikely in my opinion. The difference between a friend and a significant other is usually the physical chemistry between two people. I am not saying physical attraction is the MOST important thing in a relationship but I do think it is a basis for a relationship that is more than just friendly.

Of course it takes many things to sustain a healthy relation but next time you meet someone you want to date, perhaps sniffing them is the way to determine if a true love connection is possible.

Prison Break, Forever in my Heart

In honor of Prison Break, my favorite show of all time and in celebration of the release of the DVD movie Prison Break: The Final Break I thought it would be apropo (sp?) to reflect on this amazing series and what went down over four glorious seasons. Please note that there are MAJOR spoilers from the TV series and the movie so do not read further if you do not want to know what happens.

Season 1

The first season follows the rescue of Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell), who is accused of murdering Terrence Steadman (Jeff Perry), the brother of the Vice President of the United States. Lincoln is sentenced to death and is incarcerated in Fox River State Penitentiary where he awaits his execution. Lincoln's brother, brilliant structural engineer Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), is convinced of Lincoln's innocence and formulates an escape plan. In order to gain access to Fox River, Michael commits armed robbery. Michael befriends the prison doctor Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) when he pretends to suffer from Type 1 diabetes, in order to gain daily access to the prison's infirmary. The brothers' fight to ward off the execution is aided by their lifelong friend Veronica Donovan (Robin Tunney), who begins to investigate the conspiracy that put Lincoln in jail. However, they are hindered by covert agents, members of an organization known as The Company. The Company was responsible for framing Lincoln, and they did so because of Lincoln's father, Aldo Burrows, and his former connections to the company. The brothers, along with six other inmates, Fernando Sucre (Amaury Nolasco), Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell (Robert Knepper), Benjamin Miles "C-Note" Franklin (Rockmond Dunbar), David "Tweener" Apolskis (Lane Garrison), John Abruzzi (Peter Stormare), and Charles "Haywire" Patoshik (Silas Weir Mitchell), who come to be known as the Fox River Eight, escape in the season finale.

Season 2
The second season begins eight hours after the escape, focusing mainly on the escapees. The fugitives split up and journey to locations across the country with the authorities close behind them as they each pursue their individual goals. Brad Bellick (Wade Williams) gets fired from the prison where he worked as a guard and chases after the inmates himself for the reward money. Several of the escapees reunite in search of a large cache of money buried long ago by another prisoner. Federal agent Alexander Mahone (William Fichtner) is assigned to track down and capture the eight fugitives, but is revealed to be working for The Company, which wants all eight men dead. When Sara discovers her dead father, Governor Frank Tancredi, she meets with Michael, remaining with him as the brothers try to bring down the current President, a Company member. To ensure the brothers' safety, Sara allows herself to be arrested and faces trial. During the trial, the testimony of former Secret Service agent Paul Kellerman, who used to work for the Company-controlled President, exonerates Lincoln and Sara. Several of the escapees are killed or recaptured, but the brothers make it to Panama. Michael, T-Bag, Mahone, and Bellick are arrested by the Panamanian authorities and imprisoned at the PenitenciarĂa Federal de Sona.

Season 3
The third season follows both Michael inside Sona and Lincoln on the outside in Panama. Sona is a prison that has been run by the inmates and guarded only from the outside since a riot the year before. Burrows is quickly contacted by Gretchen Morgan (a Company operative who was in charge of operations in Panama) who kidnapped his son LJ (Marshall Allman) and Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies), the woman Michael loves. He is told that The Company wants Scofield to break James Whistler (Chris Vance) out of Sona. The season follows Michael and Whistler's trials in formulating an escape plan, as Michael has to deal with extreme tension and as Lincoln deals with the Company's operative Gretchen Morgan (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe). Sucre gets a job at the prison to aid Michael in his escape plan. When Lincoln attempts to rescue Sara and LJ following a clue provided by Sara, Gretchen claims to have beheaded Sara and sends Lincoln a head in a box as a warning. As the season ends, the pair manage to escape along with Mahone, and another inmate McGrady leaving behind several accomplices including T-Bag and Bellick. Sucre's identity is discovered by a prison guard and is thrown into Sona just after the escape. LJ and Sofia (who was captured for a guarantee that Whistler would go with her) are traded for Whistler, and Michael seeks revenge against Gretchen for Sara's death.

Season 4
The fourth season concerns a team recruited by Homeland Security agent Don Self (Michael Rapaport) to obtain Scylla. Although the team initially believes it to be the Company's "black book", it is later revealed to contain information on an advanced renewable power cell. Over the course of the first half of the season, the team obtain cards to access Scylla, and break into Company headquarters to steal. In the first half, Sara is discovered to be alive, Bellick is killed, and Self is revealed to be a double agent and sell Scylla to the highest bidder. Reluctantly, Lincoln decides to join the Company to get it back, while Michael suffers from a brain aneurysm. He is treated and operated on by the Company. He later learns that his mother, Christina is still alive and was an agent of the Company, who is revealed to acquire Scylla to sell to the highest bidder. Eventually, the series ends in Miami, where Scylla is recovered by Michael and the team, the General and the Company are taken down, and Christina is killed. Four years later, it is revealed Michael died after freeing Sara, who was accused of killing Christina.
